Komakko Land



 


On the grounds of Komakko Land, the Shotokukan, a museum of nationwide importance, exhibits almost 5,000 items and artwork relating to horses and their historic and cultural place in Japan. Other activities include folklore storytelling by Kataribe and horseback riding.
  • Hours of Open: 8:30 am – 6:00 pm (Apr. 1 – Oct. 31)
                         8:30 am – 5:00 pm (Nov. 1 – Mar. 31)
    Closed: Mondays (or Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday)           and New Year (Dec. 29 – Jan. 3)
