Towada Autumn Festival (Towada-shi Aki Matsuri)



 
Aki Matsuri is one of Towada City's biggest events. More than 30 gorgeous dashi (floats) depicting legendary figures and events are joined by floats carrying taiko drum teams for a parade on the central street of Towada. The resounding drum beats and impressive, dance-like performances of the taiko drummers invigorate the parade atmosphere.
